How to use ApplyList

ApplyList keeps your graduate and research outreach organized — professors you contact, positions you apply to, and optional tools for finding supervisors and drafting emails.

1. Professors

Use Professors for people you personally plan to email: name, university, research area, and address. Mark Email sent when you send a message — the date is stored automatically.

About two weeks later, the home dashboard lists contacts who still need a follow-up reminder. Tick Reminder sent when you nudge them, so the list stays current.

2. Positions

Track PhD calls, fellowships, and research jobs with status and deadline. The dashboard surfaces upcoming deadlines so nothing slips past you.

3. Supervisor database

The Database is a paid catalog of faculty collected from universities' own public directories. Search by research area, open a profile, and save useful people straight into your Professors list.

If you are listed and want out, use Remove my listing — no account required. A request unpublishes the entry immediately while it is reviewed.

4. AI assistant

With a plan that includes the assistant, draft cold emails and follow-ups against a contact you already saved, or ask process questions in English or Persian. Missing personal details become bracketed placeholders — the assistant will not invent your background.

5. Account, language, and plans

  • Confirm your email after signup so you can use every feature.
  • Switch English / فارسی from the language control in the header. Dates follow the Jalali calendar in Farsi.
  • Professors and Positions stay free. Database and Assistant need a paid plan — see Pricing, or ask an admin if your university arranged access.
